For Prospective Students 02Application Requirements for ABTS Master's Programme

  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognised college or university in any discipline
  • Demonstrate commitment to Christ and evidence of the new birth.
  • Be actively engaged in ministry in a local church

 

Initial Application Process

The first step in the process is to fill in the online application form -

(New applicants should apply for the Master of Religious Education and choose one of the concentrations)

The next step would be to submit all your admission documents (transcripts) and references and complete the introductory course (THL 500 Introduction to Graduate Theological Education) online.  Acceptance for admission will be considered upon receipt of all the required documents and successful completion of THL 500 Introduction to Graduate Theological Education course. 

Cost

Each course is 3 credits (except for the introductory course) and costs Rs. 5,400/- plus cost of notes and books (Rs. 1,800 per credit hour). The MRE is a total of 31 credits (11 courses) and the MA is a total of 64 credits (22 courses). Students pay on a course by course basis. 

Audit Students

ABTS allows students to audit the classes. Auditing allows someone who is interested in the subject to sit in the classes for the purposes of self-enrichment and academic exploration, but they will not receive a grade or credit for the class.

Non-Delhi Residents 

The programme is open to residents all over India. You will be required to attend the 20 hour face-to-face classes for the hybrid courses. These classes will include a couple of weekday evenings and one weekend.
